In our world that feels heavy and unceasing, caring for our nervous systems is no longer a luxury but a necessity. We don't retreat to escape the world, but to gather the pieces of ourselves it has scattered, so we can return to it with a spirit that is once again whole, steady, and resilient.

There is a lot of room in the schedule to take the time you need for yourself. Everything is optional but the typical flow of a day is the following:

late afternoon or evening yoga

A tasty Mediterranean-style breakfast will be served each morning at our accommodations after yoga considering all dietary needs. We’ll enjoy a mix of at home dinners and nights out in town at local restaurants. Because afternoons will be open to you, you will be given money at the start of the retreat so you can enjoy some of the local restaurants for lunch; or grab a few items at the local market and stay relaxed at our beautiful retreat home!

The official welcome time for the retreat is between 2-5pm on September 18th and will end by 10 a.m. on September 23rd.
When booking your flights, you’ll have two main options for entering the island. Chania International Airport (CHQ) is the most convenient choice, as it’s just a scenic 75-minute drive from our villa in Phalasarna. While it is a smaller airport, it offers a much faster start to your retreat. Private transfers from Chania typically range between €100 and €140 for a standard vehicle (that price is for 1-4 people)
If you are looking for more flight flexibility or are coming from a major international hub, you might consider Heraklion International Airport (HER). It is the island’s primary gateway and often has a wider range of flight times, but please keep in mind that it is significantly further away. The drive to the villa takes nearly three hours, and a private transfer usually costs between €210 and €260 for a vehicle that carries up to 4.
While you are responsible for booking your own flights and transportation, I am more than happy to help bridge the gap by helping you connect with other participants landing at similar times so you can share a vehicle and split the cost.
